Walter Ferris, MD, Associate Medical Director, Mount Carmel Hospice & Palliative Care. He serves as Clinical Faculty for Hospice/Palliative Care Rotations for both medical students and residents from OSU, Ohio University, Mt. Carmel FP Residency and Wright State University. Dr. Ferris is an accomplished practitioner and educator in Family Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Care. He obtained his MD at the Ohio State University, completed a family practice residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, obtained additional certification in Strategic Family Therapy and is a board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. After private and HMO practice for 12 years and teaching at the Miami Valley Hospital Family Practice residency for 15 years,
